Burning fire spread throughout Solar's veins as she just sprinted away from the sight of Lunar and Minako kissing. She was downward spiralling into a rage and it was fast. Solar wanted to lash out, to hurt someone else the way she was hurting. She wanted to destroy Sailor Venus.
'Her filthy lips all over him, he is mine!' Solar thought savagely. 'She can burn... burn...'
Solar tracked them throughout the city, feeling more and more sick each time they shared a kiss. She didn't know what annoyed her more, the way Minako threw herself all over him with no regard for public's opinions or whether the way Lunar return the affections each and every time. She stalked them to Sailor Venus' residence only to see them share a goodbye kiss. When Lunar was alone, she confronted him.
"That was the plan was it?" she snarled.
Lunar's body jumped in shock and he turned to face her. "What?"
"Making out with the girl. Apart of the plan is it?"
"Of course. You should know that I don't feel anything of what I feel for you for her." 'That's not completely true.' Lunar thought.
Solar made a clicking sound with her tongue. "Then kiss me now." 'Prove to me that it's only me you truly want!'
"I don't have time to play these stupid games with you Solar over you insecurities, now let us go to back to the tower. I need to formulate a plan. We need more energy as soon as possible."
"Go ahead." Solar informed him. "I'll catch up."
She watched him leave quickly, and noticed more of a spring in his step.
'That bastard! He wants energy, I'll give him energy!' She thought wildly, as she stared back at Sailor Venus' house.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"It was wonderful, he kissed me! Twice, or maybe more!" Minako bragged cheerfully over the phone to Usagi.
"That's sweet. He sounds like a nice guy." Usagi chatted back into the phone with just as much enthusiasm as Minako had.
Minako fell backwards onto her bed with a happy sigh. "I want everyone to meet him soon. Or do you think that's a bit too early?"
"I don't know, but-" Usagi stopped speaking instantaneously.
"Usagi?" Minako asked, feeling slightly concerned.
"Look outside!"
Minako - with the phone still pressed to her ear - walked up to her bedroom window and gazed out with horror. It was a scene straight out of an apocalyptic film, with the sky turned to a midnight black and red lighting flashing across the Earth.
This could only mean one thing to Minako. "She knows who I am..." Minako whispered on the phone.
"Minako?"
The red lighting was striking everything down in its path, house, tree, even when it struck living creatures. The dark energy pulsed and surged forward to Minako's home. Sensing the danger she hid under her bed and transformed.
"Minako?" Usagi shouted through the phone as the line went dead.
Minako's house was blasted to oblivion, as pieces of wood and concrete skyrocketed in every direction.
"She's dead," Solar murmured with satisfaction.
"Trying to kill me were you?"
Solar spun around to see Sailor Venus staring at her with a dark expression. Solar wasn't sure if Sailor Venus would reference her identity like that, but it surprised her that it did. Her identity may have already been discovered by Lunar and Solar, but the fact that she confirmed it herself gave Solar many ideas. Like would she lead them to the other four Sailor Soldiers?
Sailor Venus unfolded one of her arms and pointed it at Solar. "Well I'm afraid you failed! For trying to kill me and many others, in the name of Venus, I will punish you!"
Solar smirked. "You will try," she sneered at Venus before using her powers on her. The red lighting struck all around her and Sailor Venus had no escape. "But fail, so just drop dead now!" Solar shouted at her.
"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"
Solar knocked the power energy out of the way. "Your pathetic attacks won't work on me anymore!" She shouted at her before unleashed more waves of destruction upon her.
Sailor Venus had no other option, she ran. Sprinting down the streets of a now darkened Tokyo, Sailor Venus looked for shelter amongst the fallen houses in the area.
'How many did she kill?' The thought alone almost made her stop running, but she knew if she stopped now, she would be killed. Something had changed in Solar, it was not the same character as she had represented in the past. This Solar was violent and vengeful, filled with rage and would stop at nothing until her enemy was dead. 'Why?' Venus thought. 'What has happened to make her this angry and yet, powerful?'
A young girl's coughing stopped Sailor Venus for a moment. The girl must have been a year or two younger than herself, as she was struggling to push the remaining rubble off her. Venus quickly turned around, and even though Solar was approaching fast, she ran to help the girl. Pushing the rubble off top of her, Sailor Venus grabbed her hand and ran to the closest shelter, as Solar shot more waves of destruction at them.
The two girls were panting heavily as they hid from Solar's wrath, the younger of the two turned to the magical girl. "Thank you," she panted, "I thought I was going to die then... my family..." She cried the last few words.
"I'm sorry," Sailor Venus whispered, if she had known...
"It's okay, you're a Sailor Soldier aren't you?" Venus nodded, "Will you avenge my family?"
"Right now lets just try to stay alive."
The girl nodded, "I'm Matsuda Masuyo."
"Okay Masuyo, right now let's try to get out of here alive."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I've found her!" The older woman proclaimed.
"What is it?" A younger woman ran into the room, her wavy aqua hair flying behind her.
"It is one of the two we have been searching for, I'm positive." The older woman replied.
"If you're positive," another woman began, scuffing her short blonde hair a few times, "We need to go now."
"Yes," the youngest and shortest began, "we must get to her before the enemy can."
"There is something else," The older woman added, "there is already a soldier with her."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Minako!" Sailor Moon shouted, as she walked around the destructed site of where Minako once lived.
"There doesn't seem to be any since of life in this immediate area." Mercury informed her; her mini computer screen performing multiple scans of the area.
"Nothing over here either..." Jupiter and Mars jogged over to the other Soldiers.
"Luna and Artemis are taking refuge over at Mamoru's," Mars told Moon.
Sailor Moon nodded, her eyes blurring up with tears. There was no sign of their friend, amongst the apocalyptic mess. Was she all right?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sailor Venus sprinted away from the scene with Masuyo's arm draped over her shoulder, as she supported the injured girl's weight. It was also getting harder for the girls to breathe, with all the smoke that hung in the air, creating a scene of misery as if it were whipped out of a movie about destruction. Sailor Venus refused to think about all the lives that were most likely lost within that attack that Solar had caused, because if she did, she knew she wouldn't be able to continue on right now. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt so alone, no help, no ally and Venus had to save the injured girl with her.
"I've found you!" Solar's voice boomed from above them. "Did you honestly think you could escape my wrath?" She shouted down at Sailor Venus.
Sailor Venus frowned up at her and tried to think of a way to escape her. She ignored Solar's rants until she demanded her attention with the whip of an attack.
"Die!"
Solar's blast of unforgivable energy spiralled downward to Sailor Venus and Masuyo, and at the last moment, Venus shielded her body over the girls. Masuyo collapsed on the floor with Sailor Venus sprawled on top of her. Her heart began to race, as she saw no other way out of this.
In desperation, she cried. "Sailor Soldier! Sailor Soldier! Please wake up!"
Solar walked over to the two girls amongst the rubble before she grabbed Sailor Venus up by her hair. She stared into her eyes, feeling her hatred continuing to boil more.
'This is more than his stupid plot; he actually sees something in you. What could he possibly see in you?'
"Let her go!" Masuyo shouted at Solar, as she gripped a stone between her hands.
Solar looked down at the girl below her. She was quite a pathetic mess, and an eyesore to look at, but the girl's eyes had more soul within her than Solar could ever see within herself. Yet that was not the only thing that had caught her eye. There was a strange aura around the girl - Masuyo - the same type of aura that surrounded the Sailor Soldiers. Solar's eyes widened, was it possible that she was one as well?
Solar summoned electrical energy around her right hand and took aim at Masuyo. It was better to take care of the girl now before she transformed, and if she wasn't one - what did that matter to Solar?
"World Shaking!"
Solar saw just in time and dropped Sailor Venus the dodged out of the earthquake destruction just before it struck her. Solar landed on what once was a fence and frowned at the sight of four soldiers she had not met before.
"And who are you?" Solar snarled.
"My guardian is the planet far up in the sky, the soldier of sky - Sailor Uranus!"
"My guardian is the planet with the sea of sand, the soldier of embrace - Sailor Neptune!"
"My guardian is the planet floating in time and space, the soldier of revolution - Sailor Pluto!"
"My guardian is the planet of silence, the soldier of death and rebirth - Sailor Saturn!"
"I see." Solar replied. Without warning she flicked her wrist and unleashed another round of destructive energy and headed for Sailor Venus and Masuyo.
Sailor Saturn leapt into action; she jumped down in front of them and murmured, "Silence Wall."
The energy collided Saturn's barrier, and Solar gasped.
Sailor Saturn shifted her glaive to the ground, but did not relax her defensive stance. Sailor Uranus jumped in front of Masuyo and offered her hand. Masuyo accepted her offer and was helped to her feet; she turned to the side and saw Sailor Neptune attending to Sailor Venus.
"So many Sailor Soldiers." Masuyo commented off handily.
"Yes and you are one us." Uranus replied and she let go of her hand.
"What?" Masuyo replied.
Sailor Pluto joined Sailor Uranus and held out a Lip Rod towards her.
"You have a choice." Sailor Neptune informed her. "You can lead the life we lead, or you can be a normal teenage girl."
"You are Sailor Eris." Sailor Saturn said solemnly, and she turned her head to face her slightly. "You won't be able to escape your past forever."
Masuyo took the Lip Rod into her hands, and her past life memories came flooding back. An outer soldier, one whom did cause mischief yet protected the Solar System with the other Sailor's.
"Enough!" Solar shouted, and hurled another energy blast at them. With Sailor Saturn off guard, the energy collided with them all. "Time to finish this with Miss Sailor Venus!"
"The Soldier who helped me!" Masuyo thought, and with a vengeance she retrieved the Lip Rod from where it had fallen and cried out, "Eris Planet Power!"
Masuyo transformed into Sailor Eris and stood in a defensive stance in front of Sailor Venus. Sailor Eris' fuku was with the colours of dark purple, yet it's strongest colour was a deep maroon, close to brown, making her raven locks stand out amongst her outfit.
"My guardian is the planet of mischief and strife, the soldier of discord - Sailor Eris!"
"You will not stand in my way of what I want dead!"
"And you killed my family!" She retorted and held her right hand by her side as it began to swirl with colourful energy, she pushed it into her left hand and the energy grew dark. "Chaotic Strife!"
Her attack hit Solar square in the chest sending her backwards into a charred wall. "I won't be defeated!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lunar had been pacing around the tower's main room for the past hour now, pondering over Sailor Venus, no, Minako. The way she smiled, laughed, or that twinkle she got in her eye when she was plotting something. Yet when he thought about her, he then thought of Solar and the way she responded to him.
What did humans call this? A love triangle?
"Lunar! Lunar!" Solar's voice shouted in the air.
Lunar looked around the room only to realise her voice had transferred to him.
"Help!"
Without hesitation, Lunar took off to find Solar.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Solar stood in fear as she watched the other four Sailor Soldiers arrive. Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, a still out cold Sailor Venus, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, Sailor Saturn and the newest soldier Sailor Eris.
"A new Sailor?" Jupiter asked Neptune. When Neptune nodded, Jupiter began to ask more questions. "Why? How did you know she was one?"
"We've discovered that our eternal powers will not awaken without the entire Sailor Team." Pluto replied. "We had recently discovered an abnormal amount of planet power surround this girl, and soon found out she was indeed a solider."
"We have eternal powers too?" Mercury interrupted. "Does that mean this is the entire team?"
"No, we need to find the last Sailor Soldier and we need to awaken her if we are to become complete - our final forms." Saturn replied to Mercury.
'Another Sailor? Could that be-?'
Sailor Moon's thoughts were interrupted when Lunar made his appearance next to Solar. His face was livid with the scene placed before him. Solar had a feeling most of his anger would be directed at her for attacking Sailor Venus.
"This is not what I had planned and you know it!" he snarled sideways to Solar. "But since it's already a mess and I've heard you are not all powerful yet, might as well take out your newest friend." He pointed to Eris.
Lunar grasped Solar's hand and together they sent wave after wave of destruction upon the Sailor Soldiers. Their bodies were flung around as rag dolls over and over; with each attack upon them they had not enough time to summon their powers to attack.
"How does it feel to die?" Lunar taunted, as he hurled an energy blast at Eris.
Sailor Eris flung backward into a concrete wall before sliding down and her face, now smashed against the dirt floor. "I am going to die, just a little later after my family." Then she could see the firelights - they were flying towards her but never collided. When she opened her tightly shuteyes, Eris saw who had blocked the blast - it was Sailor Moon.
"I won't let you harm anyone!" Sailor Moon shouted at her opponents.
"We'll see!" Solar shouted back at her childishly.
The blast hit Sailor Moon in the chest again and she flew backwards to the ground.
"Sailor Moon!" The Sailor Team cried.
They scattered to get up but another energy blast crippled them again.
"It's okay, you can do it!" Sailor Moon encouraged an unseen friend. Sailor Mars turned to see her talking to the sky. "Please! Sailor Sun!"
